WHO WE ARE
Our Roots
Formerly known as Free Bikes 4 Kidz West Virginia, we have a new name and an enhanced mission. We stepped away from the FB4K chapter model and are now our own independent 501c3 organization that is ready to meet the transportation needs of the community in whatever way we can. We’re excited to write our own chapter in 2024 as we continue to evolve and grow. Monongalia County is our home and where 85% of our bike recipients and customers reside. We have been been working toward the goal of having hubs throughout the state and will continue to do so.
We are a community bike shop that provides bike sales of adult bikes to fund our bike giveaway program so we can provide transportation access for all people. We’re making bicycling sustainable, equitable, and affordable as a means of everyday transportation. We believe access to bikes betters the lives of all physically, emotionally, and economically.
